From Dave himself~
To my fellow employees:
Over the past more than 40+ years of my life, I have spent my waking hours developing my personality and professional expertise in the concrete and construction industry. I’ve also used this time to become a devoted provider for a wonderful family and a decent lifestyle. Thankfully I’ve also been able to prepare for a time when family and personal interests can take precedence and gain more of my attention. I’d like to thank the Murphy Family for providing all of us with an opportunity to contribute to the common good of the local community by collectively providing construction services and building materials, while enhancing our own lives with a regular source of income and a supporting benefit package.
I also would like to personally thank each and every one of my fellow employees here at MCC, Inc.
For nearly 32 years, I have spent more hours than I care to count, working side by side with some of the best people I’ve ever met in my life. During this time, I’ve met some extraordinary people, experienced some extraordinary things and visited some extraordinary places. Much of our recent success in concrete is from the excellent veteran employee base. A lot of the right people, in the right place, at the right time. I’m very grateful for the collective experience of the dedicated people that have made me look good as a manager.
I believe that no matter the position I’ve held here at MCC, I’ve always performed to the best of my ability and with respect for the customer, the business and the employee base. I have certainly enjoyed my career and I’m thankful for the challenges it has presented as a I believe I’m a better man for it. My heart will forever be in Concrete.
I guess you could say “Life Happens”, and time stands still for no man.
I wish everyone all the best in the future. Life is wonderful, and is truly what you make of it. A positive attitude helps tremendously and you can do anything, if you want to.
