We have had nice, windy, thunderstorm, rainy and even some snow days already. Pretty much to sum this up, its Wisconsin weather. But with all of this weather and being the time of year that it is, we all need to be prepared for the cold, slippery and yes, the SNOW. I said it, painfully, but I said it.
Here are some quick tips to remember when the weather is transitioning from summer, short lived fall to winter.
- Bundle up but in layers. Wisconsin has a tendency to be cold in the morning and warmer in the afternoon.
- Stock up your car with all the needed essentials for winter; ice scraper, blanket, snacks, etc.
- Review your knowledge of winter driving hazards.
- Be aware of your surroundings and the hazards winter weather may do to said surroundings.
We don’t want to be stuck with out something when we need it most!
